We offer a wide array of activities and trips for those who wish to join our Trip Club. The club is open to anyone living in Weardale, and membership costs only £5 per year. By being a member, you will be mailed our newsletter with all the trips we plan to go on within a two month period.
Below is a list of upcoming events during the months of September and October 2026. For booking and further information, please contact us on 01388 528777 or email us at [email protected] during 9:30am – 1:00pm on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. While we are closed on a Wednesday for administrative work, you can ring us from 9:30am to pay or book a trip with us.

| Wednesday 9th September | The 68 Café | A highly requested trip! £11.75 for a meal deal including a main course, tea/coffee, and a pudding of the day. | £10 |
| Thursday 17th September | Raby Castle | Visit the Couch House Shop and Exhibition and Vinery Café (free entry), and if you wish you can visit the Deer Park and Gardens (£16 entry), and even the castle itself (£8 for the castle, £24 for everything). Note: They only accept card payments. Please pay for admissions when there. | £13 |
| Tuesday 22nd September | Penshaw Farm Shop | Lots of choice here! You can visit the café with delicious homemade cakes, the home bakery, or the butchers. | £15 |
| Wednesday 30th September | Corbridge | Come along to see the beautiful village itself, or get dropped off at the weekly car boot sale to see if you can find any deals! | £13 |

| Wednesday 14th October | Sweet Things Café & Tesco | A café in Consett with a varied menu, including hot meals, sandwiches and cakes. Afterwards, we’ll pop into Tesco for a bit of shopping. | £9 |
| Tuesday 20th October | South Causey Inn | Tuesday is market day, all indoors, lots of local makers and artisan stalls. Then if you’re feeling peckish, there’s a choice of either coffee and cake or a full lunchtime menu in lovely surroundings. | £12 |
| Thursday 29th October | King’s Head Pub | A delicious menu in offered at this pub in Lanchester. Choose from fish and chips, pie, pasta, or a burger – then follow it up with a dessert if you have space! | £11 |
